The movie is based on the life of George Jung, who was a big fish in cocaine trade in the United States during the 1970’s and 1980’s. The film was directed by Ted Demme. The film also features many real life incidents of Pablo Escobar, Carlos Lehder Rivas, and also the Medellin Cartel.

This movie is based on an event that inspired the novel “ MOBY DICK” . “In the Heart of the Sea” reveals the encounter’s harrowing aftermath, as the ship’s surviving crew is pushed to their limits and forced to do the unthinkable to stay alive. Braving storms, starvation, panic and despair, the men will call into question their deepest beliefs, from the value of their lives to the morality of their own. The film was directed by Ron Howard.
This film was inspired by a real life mobster and FBI informant named Henry Hill. The story details the rise and fall of Hill, a half-Irish, half-Sicilian New York kid who grows up idolizing the “wise guys” in his impoverished Brooklyn neighborhood. He starts getting attracted towards the crime world slowly by doing some petty and odd jobs along with his friend. He enjoys the attention and the money in the business but soon finds himself as the target by both Feds and Mobs because of his careless attitude. The film was directed by Martin Scorsese.
Zodiac is story inspired by a serial killer who named himself as Zodiac and killed many people around the San Francisco Bay during 1960’s and 1970’s. After committing the crime he used to leave the victim’s body in the location and later used to send letters to the press and police confessing the crime. Till now this stands out as an unsolved case due to the lack of evidences. There were many suspects under the list but whenever the police thought they were nearer to catch the Zodiac, things would change drastically forcing them to continue hunting.
5) INTO THE WILD
Into The Wild movie has been adapted from the book bearing the same name. The book covers the the travels of Christopher McCandless across North America and his life spent in the Alaskan wilderness in the early 1990s. Though he had the prosperous future ahead he chose to be an adventurer wandering in nature. His encounters with countless people during his journey had made him understand what is life, and how he wants to live it. During his stay in the wilds he had made himself a home out of a bus and used to hunt for food. Unfortunately he misjudged a fruit to be something else and had consumed it which lead to his tragic death.
6) BORN ON FOURTH OF JULY
The movie showcases the life of Ron Kovic, who joined marines and a young patriot and returned home as a paralysed anti war activist. Tom Cruise earned his first Oscar nomination for his portrayal of Kovic. Also, there was a special gift from Ron Kovic himself. Ron kovic was so dazzled looking at Tom Cruise’s portrayal that he gifted him the bronze medal on the final day of the shoot.
7) ERIN BROCKOVICH
Erin Brockovich is a story about a small town lawyer and her fight with a huge corporation to bring a community justice. Brockovich uncovers that Pacific Gas and Electric have been contaminating the area water with toxic chemicals that are making area residents sick. With her determination, Masry, with Brockovich by his side, files a lawsuit against the huge company on behalf of the people who are signed up with their firm.
